With the Future Trophy, Europe 1 rewards companies, associations or local authorities every year for their courage, their innovation and their visionary side. In the running for the Education Trophy, in partnership with Acadomia, Money Walkie is a start-up that offers more than one way to pay for our children.
Start-up Money Walkie has developed a contactless electronic wallet for children. Made in France, it allows them to pay all merchants. This useful and safe item is linked to an application for parents. It offers the possibility to recharge the account, but also to manage the use of the money spent to help the child get good financial changes.
Virtues of education and unity
Money Walkie aims to develop new reflexes of intelligent consumption in children and teach them to control a budget. In fact, it teaches to save through a small piggy bank but also offers actions of solidarity such as giving to associations to raise awareness of financial generosity from childhood.
Open a dialogue with the family about financial management
RaphaĆ«l Leprette, founder of Money Walkie, believes that explaining the value of things is “an important concept, it is a basis that our children must develop in order to fully understand the issues of financial education. “
