SEOUL, Nov. 1 (Yonhap) — Blackpink member Lisa’s choreography video for “Money” has surpassed 200 million views on YouTube, according to her promotion agency YG Entertainment on Monday.
This exclusive performance video crossed the 200 million view mark this Monday at 2:14 am, 38 days after its release on September 24, 2021, achieving this feat in record time for a choreography clip by a K-pop artist or group.
The previous record was made by his band, Blackpink, with the performance clip for “How You Like That,” 45 days after the release.
“It’s rare for a choreography clip, and not an official clip, to reach hundreds of millions of views in such a short time,” said YG Entertainment.
“It’s even more important because it’s only achieved through YG’s high-quality music, Lisa’s management and performance skills without the added activity of a TV show set, which is related to “Money””, it added.
