SEOUL, July 19 (Yonhap) — K-pop girl band Blackpink member Lisa’s hit song “Money” has amassed more than 500 million plays on streaming platform Spotify, her promotional agency reported. YG Entertainment on Tuesday.
This threshold was exceeded 313 days after the release of the single on September 10, 2021. Thus Lisa became the fastest solo K-pop artist to get more than 500 million streams, YG Entertainment said.
With the band’s tracks ‘Kill This Love’, ‘How You Like That’ and ‘Ddu-du Ddu-du’, the singer now has four songs that have surpassed the 500 million stream threshold on the platform of provider of global music. “Money,” a hip-hop-style song, was featured on Lisa’s debut solo album, “Lalisa.”
