Led internationally by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), this event mobilizes players from the education and financial sectors. The goal is to bring children and young people closer to the world of finance, said the Moroccan Foundation for Financial Education (FMEF) in a press release.
“The year 2022 marks the 10th edition of this event, in which Morocco has participated since its first edition in 2012. For this special edition, the planned program experienced a mobilization of all stakeholders, which marks the unity and inclusive nature of this movement.”, underlined the same source.
“Diversity and inclusion materialize through the association of new stakeholders, the development of new actions and initiatives for the attention of different targets of children, juniors and young people, as well as their ecosystem”, continued the announcement.
Global Money Week 2022 has the international theme “Building your future, be smart about money”, and in Morocco “فكر في .مستقبلك, كن إلى مع فلوسك”.
The program of actions and activities is divided between visits to financial institutions and information sessions led by speakers from the financial sector, as well as training sessions for the benefit of vocational training students, micro-entrepreneurs and project leaders.
There will also be talks at seminars and webinars for the benefit of higher education students, as well as targeted thematic competitions. Some are open to secondary school students and high school students, while others are intended for students who are training from training centers for craft trades.
Along with the initiatives carried out throughout the country, a special “Global Money Week” digital campaign is planned on the social networks of the FMEF and its partners. A variety of content adapted to the selected themes will be considered for the attention of the different targets of this activity.
